1. Install the app
Section titled “1. Install the app”Install Transactful from the Shopify App Store. The app requests access to companies, customers, and orders — this is what powers approval and credit tracking. Nothing is written to your theme.
2. Publish your application form
Section titled “2. Publish your application form”Transactful hosts your wholesale application at a dedicated URL. Add it to your store navigation (“Wholesale”, “Trade accounts”) — no theme edits required.
3. Review your first application
Section titled “3. Review your first application”Applications appear in the review queue in your Shopify admin with VAT numbers already validated. Approve, reject, or request more information.
4. Approve with a credit limit
Section titled “4. Approve with a credit limit”On approval, Transactful creates the Shopify Company, assigns your chosen catalog and payment terms, and sets the buyer’s credit limit. From that moment, checkout enforcement is live: orders that would exceed available credit are blocked with a clear message to the buyer.
